As we're teaming up for the second time with Bob Mollema for our Volcom Featured Artist Series, we are taking over Atabal in Biarritz, France on May 21. Come join celebrate this new collection with an art show and a banging party with two live bands!

Doors open at 7PM. Grab a drink, and drift into Bob’s world for his exhibition opening, accompanied by a smooth DJ set.

Then things get loud!

At 8PM, locals from Pussy Miel kick things off—raw and unapologetic.

At 9:15PM, California band Frankie and the Witch Fingers takes us deep into their psych-punk energy until 10:30PM.

The exhibition is free. Concerts are free as well—just make sure to RSVP on Atabal’s website or risk standing outside looking sad.

Can’t make the opening? No stress. The exhibition will hang at Atabal for a full month, open to everyone during regular hours.

See you there !

Bob Mollema, born in Bennekom in 1990, is an illustrator, artist, and musician who collaborates with organizations worldwide. He draws inspiration from ancient nature religions, mythological motifs, modern art, and vintage packaging.

His work delves into the intriguing themes of ancient polytheistic religions and emphasizes the connection between humanity and nature. Through his art, he aims to convey ancient cultures’ harmonious relationship with nature.

He mainly works with crayon, pencil or oil paint because the roughness, coincidence, margin of error & the analogue aspect are in keeping with his search for purity and authenticity. It is an act of rebellion against the uniformity slowly but surely devouring the world.
